01What actually worries you

Four things drivers say about tow bills

Carriers are not imagining it. Industry surveys put predatory charges on a large share of heavy tow invoices. Here is what we do about each one, in writing.

"They will hold the truck until I pay whatever they decide to ask."

What we do

The amount is closed before we hook

The rate lines and the total are agreed before we hook, and that is the number on the invoice when you collect the unit. You name the destination and it goes on the same quote: your yard, your shop, your terminal or a dealer.

"A second truck I never approved shows up on the invoice."

What we do

Nothing extra moves without your yes

We tell you on the first call what the job needs. If the scene turns out to need more than we quoted, we stop, we call you, and we wait. No unit is added to your bill because it was parked nearby.

"The invoice arrives with lines nobody ever explained."

What we do

The invoice repeats the quote, line by line

Hook, time on scene, loaded miles, after-hours differential, storage if there is any. Same names, same order, same numbers you heard on the phone. Photos from the scene come with it.

"Nobody picks up the phone at two in the morning."

What we do

An owner answers, not a call center

Two operators, Santiago and Lazaro, one number, no ticket queue. If the unit is already on a call, we say so on that same call instead of leaving you waiting for a truck that is not coming.

02What goes on the hook

Heavy duty only, nothing lighter

One heavy wrecker with a boom and an underlift, and the two operators who run it. If your unit is on this list, call. If it is a car, we will tell you straight away that we are the wrong number.

Out of state: an emergency recovery of a disabled unit that has to cross a state line is arranged case by case. Non-emergency hauling for hire outside Florida is not work we take.

04How the price works

The lines on your invoice, published in advance

This is the whole rate structure. Nothing else can appear on your bill unless you approved it on the phone first.

Swipe the table sideways

Rate structure, Heavy Force Towing Corp
Line item How it is measured Amount
Hook and recovery Per unit dispatched to the scene, stated before we roll Quoted before dispatch
Time on scene Hourly from arrival, then in quarter-hour increments Quoted before dispatch
Loaded miles Per mile from the scene to the destination you name Quoted before dispatch
Nights, weekends, holidays A stated differential, never applied after the fact Quoted before dispatch
Storage Per calendar day, only when you ask us to hold the unit Quoted before dispatch
Additional units Only after you approve them, before anything else moves Your approval first

Why no dollar amounts here: a heavy recovery is priced on the unit, the scene and the distance, so a number on a web page would be a number we would have to walk back on the phone. What is fixed is the list. These are the only lines we quote, and the invoice repeats them in the same order.

Our capacity, stated honestly: one heavy wrecker and two operators. That means one heavy call at a time. If the unit is already working, we tell you on that call instead of holding your load in a queue. We would rather lose the job than promise a truck we do not have.

Vendor packet on request

W-9, remit-to details and the DOT and state records for your file. Purchase orders accepted on account jobs.

Destination control

You set the drop location before we hook. It goes on the quote and on the invoice.

Itemized invoicing

One line per charge, in the order you were quoted. Ready to drop into your system.

Photo documentation

Condition photos before the hook and at delivery, so a damage claim is a comparison, not an argument.

07Straight answers

Questions we get on the first call

Do you tow cars or light pickups?
No. Heavy duty only: semis and tractor-trailers, box trucks, dump trucks, refuse trucks, tankers, RVs, fire apparatus and heavy equipment. If it is a passenger car or a light pickup, we are the wrong call and we will tell you so on the phone.
How do I get a price before the truck rolls?
You call, you describe the unit and where it is, and we give you the rate lines and an estimated arrival time on that call. Nothing is dispatched before you have the number. If the scene turns out to need more than we quoted, we call you and wait for your approval before anything else moves.
Who decides where my equipment goes?
You do. Your yard, your shop, your terminal or a dealer of your choice. The destination is written on the quote before we hook. Payment is due on release, like anywhere else, and the amount is the quote you already approved.
What is your USDOT number and can I verify it?
USDOT 4544870, active. The FMCSA SAFER snapshot is public: it shows zero crashes and zero out-of-service inspections as of the 09/03/2026 record. Heavy Force Towing Corp is a Florida corporation, document number P26000010897, incorporated February 23, 2026. Check it on SAFER.
Are you really open at 2 a.m. on a Sunday?
Yes, 24 hours a day, every day. The phone is answered by one of the two operators, Santiago or Lazaro. There is no call center and no ticket queue between you and the truck.
Do you work in Spanish?
Yes. Both operators work in English and in Spanish, on the phone and on the scene. Atendemos en español las 24 horas del día.
